Kites!!!

On saturday we decided to go out and fly our brand new kite. I love flying kites, the feel of the wind under the kite and watching it fly over your head. It wasn't until Saturday though that I realized just how weird you look trying to get those things in the air. We ran and ran and ran some more just trying to get the wind to catch it just right, my word what a workout. It was so nice though being out there in the field with my family feeling the wind and not having to worry about anything. I can't wait to be able to go out there again and maybe this time we can actually get the kite in the air!! LOL

26 years!!

WOW!! i can't believe how fast time fly's. I got to celebrate my 26th Birthday. It's just so hard to think that time goes by that fast. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was waiting to turn 21 and now I have five years on that. I has a wonderful day though. We got up and went easter egg hunting with Wyatt and one of my friends and her kids. Then we went to lunch just Ben and I, it was great to have time just us. Friday afternoon one of my really good friends came up, and I got to spend time with her for the first time since Thanksgiving. Friday evening we went out to a dance club with some friends. All and all it was a lot of fun and I had a great Birthday.

Charlie Bit My Finger!!

I had called over to my sister Tara's house one night to speak with Jaycee. Her and I where talking about her report in class on the state of Kansas. While we where talking she asked me if I had watched a video online called " Charlie bit my Finger"? I replied that no I had not and she proceed to tell me how I get to the video and how much she felt like I needed to watch it. I tried to remember what she has said when I got of the phone and I couldn't come up with the name enough to find it online. I had completely forgot about it til this evening while talking to my little sister Kelly. I made sure that I ran to my computer and looked it up while I still had her on the phone. I thought that is was a very cute video and thought that I would share it with you. Enjoy and I hope it puts a smile on your face!!!

My Wyatt's Hair!!

Ben and I have been discussing for days on getting Wyatt a haircut. We really don't like to because his soft long hair is so cute. It's what makes Wyatt look like Wyatt to me. Well on Saturday Ben and I looked up the forecast and noticed that it was going to be gettin up in the 70's this week and we wanted to get Wyatt's hair done before the heat. It was getting late on Sunday night and so I just asked Ben why don't we just cut it like I do yours with the clippers. Ben said why not it will save us that 20 bucks. So off to the bathroom we went for my first lesson of cutting a two year olds hair. I figured it wouldn't be hard and it would be over very quickly. I started at the back and with Ben's help holding Wyatt we managed to get it done. I almost cried and it is really going to take some getting used to, but it's short for the summer and I hope he likes it!!!!

All the Places we will go!!!

WOW!! it's is only Saturday and we have had the most fun fill weekend that we have had in a long time. We where tired of being pent up all winter so this weekend we got out and explored Kansas. First thing we did was go to the Great Wolf Lodge. It was so much fun, it's an indoor waterpark, but it's not just that there is so much to do. There is an arcade in the basement and at 8:00p.m. every night they have a huge tree that comes to life and tells you bedtime stories, there is also a gift shop and so much more. Ben's mom came and met us and spent sometime with Wyatt. Friday we came home and rested for the evening. Saturday morning the fun started all over again. We got up and went to this pond they have in one of the local cemetry's. I know that sounds weird now that I say it. Anyways there is a pond and it has lots of ducks that come and land. We like to take our bread and feed them. Wyatt loves it and he usually ends up chasing the ducks all over. After the ducks were full, we drove up to the bowling alley that my friend works at and Wyatt got to bowl for the very first time. He didn't like the ball appearing out of no where when it popped out of the hole, but he did like watching the ball roll down and hit the pins. It was funny cause when he would push the ball it would go so slow that Wyatt would get board before the ball was even close to the pins. The next adventure that we got to go on was my other friends little boy was have a birthday party at a pool. So we got to go and eat an ice cream cake and swim some more. Wyatt loved the water and had so much fun going down the frog slide. He would go and play with the water that kept the slide wet until he had a line of kids behind him and then he would go down. All of the kids tried to hurry so that they weren't the on to get stuck behind Wyatt cause he took so long. We are now home and have a whole day left in our weekend. I can't wait to see what's instore!!!
