Just Us!!

When Ben got home for the weekend it was about 95 degrees. It was beautiful once the sun went down and so we went out and started playing with all of Wyatts bubble toys. He has a little grill type bubble blower and I have kind of become a master at this toy. I can get the thing to put out some pretty big bubbles.

I have entirely to much for with a 10 dollar childrens toy, but that's why we grow up is that we can enjoy the simple things in life righ!!
This is a picture that Ben was able to get of my master big bubbles!!

We have a ditch that runs around our yard to help drain rain water, well it does work. It more or less holds water and makes it muddy and nausty after every rain fall. So we have gotten some dirt and filled in most of the ditch and are letting the grass grow. It's very much a work in progress, but one load of dirt at the time we are getting there. Ben borrowed a neighbors small tractor and leaved out the last little bit of the dirt left of the side yard. Wyatt loved being able to ride with daddy, but it made it very hard to drive!!!

Update!!

This is Susan, Her mom Bonnie, and I we are the Screwballs, Bowling League 2009

We were outside playing for Easter and wyatt had to pee, well if you gotta go!!

This was Wyatt's new bubble blower that the easter bunny brought him.

Well not a lot has changed since my last post, but I have promised that I will get online and check in more often. School is killing me, but I just keep telling myself that it's all going to be worth it. Ben is still waiting on Utah, but the latest is that they are putting the call in Friday or Monday. So he is getting his stuff ready so that as soon as the call comes in and he hears the word go he is on his way west. I am going to miss him, but I know that he is going to be out there close to family and friends and that's going to make it easier. School can't last forever and I have only been going just over a year now. Wyatt is just growing and getting smarter by the day.

My husband the LINEMAN!!!

I am really not writing this for any reason imparticular. I just wanted to post a little bit about my absolutly amazing husband. His dad past away when he was three, and yet is the most caring and passionate father I have ever seen. He never really had a role model on marriage, but he is so providing and loving. From the time Ben and I first got together he has always loved the outdoors, and could never imagine working anywhere else. In December 2004 he got into the apprenticeship doing what he loves climbing poles, being outside, and never having to put a tie on or sit in an office. This picture was taken during one of the many storms that Ben has gone on. He was fixing powerlines for people in Indiana after an ice storm. I love this man very much and am so glad that he is part of my life. I could not have asked for a better husband, father, or provider for us. LOVE YOU BENNY!!

Valentine's Day

Today Wyatt's daycare a Valentine's Party for the kids. I got out of class at around 1 and so rather than just grabbing Wyatt and heading home I stayed at the daycare for the party. I took my camera so that Ben, who is on storm, could see Wyatt's party so that he doesn't feel like he is missing out.

This is Wyatt and I at the Daycare. I love him!!

This is Wyatt and his little friend Ethan!! For a long time they were the only boys in the room with a bunch of girls, so they are really close.

After snacks the teacher had some games for the kids to play and one of them was fishing. They had so much fun picking to hearts up and getting their prizes. Wyatt picked out a colidescope.

All of the parents were asked to sign up for bringing treats for the kids. One of them brought cupcakes that had some RED frosting on them, not a problem till we realized it STAINED!!! LOL

This is just a cute picture of Wyatt playing in his Wagon one of the days last week when it was warm.

Christmas Trip!!

Well as most of everyone know Ben was working in Texas and had been since September. Well on December 13 he finally came home. Wyatt and I were so excited we drove all the way to Joplin, Mo to get him. On the 17 of December we head to Idaho for Christmas and New Years. We got there and had so much fun hanging out and seeing family. Three days before Christmas Ben was heading to Logan to buy Christmas for me when he was ran off the road. He wasn't hurt but my truck was, about 10,000 dollars worth of damage. Thank goodness for insurance! We got it fixed, but we ended up staying at my mom and dad's for a month. We had so much fun being there, but was glad to get home and back to some what of a schedule. In the mean time our truck is fixed, we are home, school starts this week, Wyatt goes back to daycare, and Ben goes back to work.

Oh the things they say!!

I was on my way home from school today, I had picked Wyatt up from the daycare and was driving the 15 minutes home. Last summer I got a chip in my windshield and when we took it through the car wash the hot water on the outside and the A/C on the inside put a huge crack on my window. I know nice right. Well we where on our way home and this was the conversation between Wyatt and I.

Wyatt: Mom your truck is broken you need to get it fixed.

Me: What's wrong with my truck?

Wyatt: right there on the window mom there is a crack you need to get it fixed.

Me: Okay I will get it fixed.

Wyatt: don't worry Mom I will fix your window i have screwdrivers in my packpack.

Me: oh really what are you going to do with screwdrivers??

Wyatt: I am going to fix the crack in the window.

Me: oh thank you buddy that would be nice.

Wyatt: Ya mom i will fix it cause I am very super strong.

Me: LAUGHED!! I was laughing so hard that I couldn't say anything, but what did you say Wyatt??

Wyatt: I said I am very super strong, and I am very super fast to.

I love my little boy and it makes me so happy that he is old enough that he wants to help me fix everything. I really can't wait for the day that he can actually do it, but I do pray that he never tries to fix my windshield with a screwdriver. Life is so wonderful and I am so grateful for my son.
